The All IITs Placement Committee (AIPC), the central coordinating body for placement and internship guidelines across IITs, met at IIT-Guwahati earlier this month and decided to write to the companies by September 30, informing them about the decision. The panel will deliberately avoid terming the action as “blacklisting”, and instead describe it as “non-cooperation”.
